Janis was such s sweetheart, I was so envious of her because she wore patented leather shoes to school every day.She was dressed like a little doll always. I could only wear saddle oxfords to school and my patent leather shoes for church and dress. The only time I could wear my good shoes to school was for a program and I can still remember the sound of those shoes in the school halls.lol Anyway Janis would trade shoes with me at recess and I was on cloud nine when we did that. Funny how things like that stay with you. I also remember when we would do the presidential physical fitness test, she would beat everyone in times or reps even the boys. She ran so fast!!! I can still see her run and sometimes I would think she could do a bent arm hang for hours. I have often wondered about her and asked people that I thought knew her about her. I am so sorry for your loss. May God comfort you at this time
