My Hero

Not many people know, but my father was a hero to me as well as countless others. He willingly sacrificed his life to care for his wife till her dying day, then moved to Texas, to care for his mother in law for 3 years till she passed away. He was diagnosed with esophageal cancer in May of 2017, yet worried about others, rather than himself,even as his life was coming to an end. He always said to family members "I'm praying for you" and meant it with all his heart. He showed me what it means in the Bible, to Love your wife as Christ loved the church and Greater LOVE hath no man than this, than to lay his life down for his friends. Thank you dad for the example and legacy you left for us to follow, you are my hero. I wish I could have been there when God said Well done thou good and faithful servant, enter into my kingdom, to you. Until we are reunited in Heaven, know we all love and miss you.
