Baby Girl

This story is about a beautiful little baby girl and her daddy. The baby's name is Stephanie and her daddy's name is Leo. As a young boy our family would travel from Eagar, AZ to Lakeside AZ where my aunt Rita and cousins lived. Oh how I loved to visit there. Not only for the company of relatives but I also got a hamburger cooked for me by my favorite Aunt. All while Leo being the proud daddy that he was would hold up in the palm of he's hand, his daughter. With her knees locked in place Stephanie would stand straight up for all to see. Her mother Evalee would not see the humor in this and would tell Leo to put her down before he drops her. For a young boy it was quite a sight to see. To my knowledge he never did drop her, but he did scare everyone from time to time. I remember it was a long way to the floor though. Another thing that he would do while in his mothers cafe with his daughter Stephanie was while she was in her high chair he would tap the tray and Stephanie would make the cutest little half moon eyes at everyone. Her mother Evalee would then beam with pride of how cute her little daughter was. She didn't complain to much to Leo about that. I write about Stephanie, because I think she was only one at that time. It was just fun as a young boy to see the relationship between a daddy and his daughter. I believe that even at a young age,I was taught by Leo, how to be a good father. I will be eternally grateful for this great person in my life! Thank you Leo, until we meet again. Love, Bill Wiltbank
