Obituary for Dewey Lewis
Dewey Lewis, age 37, of Asbury, Missouri passed away Saturday May 20, 2023, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
He was born October 15, 1985, in Joplin, Missouri to Ronald and Susan (Mitchell) Lewis.
Dewey was leadman for Thermal Engineering International where he was a welder. He loved the outdoors and spending time hunting and fishing. His family was the most important thing to him. He loved being involved with their activities and teaching them about the great outdoors.
He married Kimberly Shikles on October 14, 2006, in Joplin, Missouri and she survives. He is also survived by two sons, Gideon and Nolan; his father, Ronald Lewis; two brothers, Huey Lewis and Jason Bitticks, and numerous friends.
Dewey was preceded in death by his mother, Susan Lewis on March 1, 2021.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am Friday May 26, 2023, at Mason-Woodard Mortuary with James Yost officiating. Burial will follow at the Carl Junction Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00-7:00pm Thursday May 25, 2023, at the mortuary.
