Gary Lee Gaston, age 76, of Joplin passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at Freeman Hospital with his daughters, Lori Reynolds and Misty Gaston by his side.

Gary was born September 22, 1947, in Emporia, Kansas to Glen and Ludi Gaston as a twin.

Gary graduated from Eureka High School, Kansas. He worked several places before going to work at Arrow Box Company in Joplin where he retired June 2016 after 30 years.

Gary loved old cars and trucks and enjoyed going to car shows with his brother Clarence as often as he could.
He had many friends and will be missed by all who knew him.

Gary married Donna Newton October 7, 1970, who preceded him in death. They had two daughters, Lori Reynolds, Oronogo, MO and Misty Gaston of Joplin. Four grandchildren and 14 Great-grandchildren.

Surviving Brothers and Sisters, Clarence Gaston, Carl Junction, Steve Gaston, El Dorado, Kansas; Karen Talley, Tulsa, OK, Linda McCollough, Sullivan, MO and his twin sister, Gayleen Hudson, Urich, MO.

Funeral services have been scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 15, 2023, at Mason-Woodard Chapel. The family will receive friends during a time of visitation prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Newtonia Cemetery, Newtonia, MO.
