Obituary for Dennis Carlin
Dennis Carlin, age 77 of Joplin, MO. passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family.
Dennis was born on December 6, 1945 in Littlefield, TX. the son of Merl and Katherine (Edwards) Carlin. Dennis proudly served his country as part of the U.S. Navy. He has been a long-time area resident, Dennis worked in machine maintenance for Eagle Picher for many years before retiring. He really enjoyed fishing, Dennis would help any way he could with his children while they were involved with sports, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
He married Judith Jones on November 30, 2000, she survives. Additional survivors include four sons; Daniel Carlin, Nicholas Carlin, Jason Carlin and Dennis Carlin, two daughters; Sheona Brown and Cathy Kumuno, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services have been scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at the Mason-Woodard Chapel. The family will receive friends during a time of visitation prior to the start of the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the mortuary. Burial will follow at Osborne Memorial Cemetery.
