Obituary for Robert A Readshaw Jr.
Robert “Bob” A. Readshaw Jr. age 79, Joplin, Missouri passed away Monday March 13, 2023.
He was born January 29, 1944, in Webb City, Missouri to Robert A. and Helen Readshaw. He was a very loving and devoted father and husband to his family. He recently rededicated his life to Christ so we know we will see him again soon.
Robert worked in sales for 40 years at Joplin Supply retiring in 2006. He enjoyed fly fishing, and all sports, especially football and baseball
.
He married Cynthia Hess on April 24, 1965, in Joplin, Missouri after meeting on a blind date. He is survived by his wife of 58 years as well as a son, Brad Readshaw and wife Tricia; a daughter, Vicki Duley and husband Bob; his sister, Susan Keller; four grandchildren, Aaron Murray, Samantha Daniell and husband Tyler, Allyson Readshaw, Ashley Readshaw; one great granddaughter, Nova Daniell; two brothers in law, Jake Hess and wife Peggy, John Hess, as well as numerous extended family and friends.
Memorial graveside services will be 10:00 am Saturday March 18, 2023, at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Brad Wieneke officiating.
