Helen Jane (Cormier) Grieb, died March 9, 2023.
She was born in San Antonio, Texas on November 16, 1926, daughter of Edmund and Berniece (Morgan) Cormier.
She graduated from Mission High School in 1944 and worked as a bookkeeper for Bordens D.D. Co. On August 8, 1945, she married Harold Stephen Grieb, he preceded her in death August 13, 1978. As a homemaker, she loved sewing, gardening, and knitting. Helen worked for 20 years as a nurse aide at McCune Brooks Hospital in Carthage.
Preceding her in death was a son, Timothy David Grieb, her sister, Margaret Deason, and her parents.
Survivors include her children, Stephanie Mead (John), Springfield, MO, Kathleen Yeager (Tom), Joplin, MO. Michele Grieb, Sarcoxie, Mo, Heidi Peterson-Ramsey (Rodney), Joplin, MO five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory Joplin, Missouri.
