Obituary for Patsy J Lind (Elmore)
Patsy J Lind, age 93, of Sarcoxie, Missouri passed away March 09, 2023.
She was born April 21, 1929, in Springfield, Illinois to Athol and Emma Elmore (Lester.)
After graduating from Amundsen high school in Chicago, Illinois, Patsy met and married the love of her life, Daniel W. Lind. In 1964 she and Daniel moved to Joplin, Missouri where Patsy worked as an office clerk for ICI Explosives until retiring.
Patsy was a devoted Christian as well as being a member of Sisters in Song, the Sarcoxie Senior Center, and was a volunteer at Crosslines in Joplin.
Patsy was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Lind, her parents Athol and Emma Elmore (Lester), as well as her brother Robert Elmore.
Patsy is survived by her three daughters, Carol Hoerman (Herb) of Carl Junction, Cindy Shikles of Joplin and Chary Lasswell of Webb City. Patsy is also survived by her two sisters Peggy Steele of Summersville, Missouri and Connie Mack of Atlanta, Georgia. Also surviving are six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren
Family will receive friends from 6 to 7 pm on Monday the 13th of March at the Mason-Woodard Chapel in Joplin.
The funeral service is at 10 am on Tuesday the 14th of March also located at the Mason-Woodard Chapel. Graveside service will be at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery following the funeral service.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory Joplin, Missouri.
