Obituary for Mary Lou Harbaugh
Mary Lou Harbaugh, age 87, Seneca, Missouri passed away Monday January 23, 2023 at her daughter’s home.
She was born June 30, 1935, in Joplin, Missouri to Harry and Mildred (Yockam) Harris.
Mary lived in the area most of her life. She worked as a secretary for the 1st Baptist Church, Seneca, Missouri for many years. She was very active with the church and taught Sunday School for many years. She enjoyed reading and canning pickles.
Mary married Marvin “Duffy” Harbaugh on January 26, 1957 and he preceded her in death on December 5, 2009.
She is survived by one son, Darryl Harbaugh and wife Annette, Neosho, Missouri, one daughter Becky Lamar and husband Terry, Seneca, Missouri, one sister, Henrietta Hicks, Webb City, Missouri: seven grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren as well as numerous extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday January 28, 2023 at First Baptist Church, Seneca, Missouri with pastors Aaron Weible and John Henry officiating. Burial will follow at the Seneca Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday January 27, 2023 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the church.
