Obituary for David Greathouse
David Greathouse, age 60, of Diamond, Missouri passed away January 10, 2023.
He was born March 27, 1962, in Carthage, Missouri to Elmer and Neva (Bradley) Greathouse.
David worked for Mid America Environmental in sanitation but performed several tasks for them prior to his retirement. Prior to working at Mid America, David spent many years at Eagle Pitcher. David was also a member of Diamond Christian Church.
In recent years, David’s main hobby was gardening; a hobby which he excelled at and shared with family and friends.
David was preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Neva Greathouse (Bradley.) He was also preceded in death by his brother John Greathouse.
David is survived by two brothers; Carl Greathouse of Diamond, Missouri and Greg Greathouse of Diamond, Missouri, and two sisters; Shirley Walker and husband John of Marshfield, Missouri and Helen Greathouse of Sarcoxie, Missouri. David is also survived by his son Brandon Dorsey of Springfield, Missouri. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews that meant a great deal to him.
A celebration of life service will be held January 21, 2023 at 3:00 pm at Skinners Pottery Studio in Diamond, Missouri.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory Joplin, Missouri.
