Jennifer Marie Hood, age 30, of Carl Junction, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, January 3,
2023. Jennifer was born on November 15, 1992 in Joplin, Missouri to Craig and Tracey (Linn)
Oxford. She married the love of her life Christopher Hood on June 18, 2011 in Joplin, Missouri.

Jennifer worked as a traveling sterile processing technician for the past four years. She was an
avid dungeons and dragons player as well as cosplay, where she enjoyed dressing as her favorite
character. She loved crafts, all kinds of crochet, painting, bead work, knitting and cooking. She
was also an amateur archer and enjoyed teaching her son these things, as well as video games.

She loved her family and always went the extra mile for them. She always put others first, even
if it hurt, she just smiled. She carried the weight of the world with ease and grace.

She is survived by her husband, Christopher Hood; her son, Rynor Hood, her parents; Craig and
Tracey Oxford, and her sister Tiffany Oxford. She is also survived by her two brother's in law; Jonathan Hood and Mathew Hood.

Funeral services have been scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at Mason-
Woodard Mortuary. The family will receive friends during a time of visitation from 1:00 to 2:00
p.m. prior to the service.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary and Crematory.
