Bobby was born April 22, 1944, to the late Robert and LaVerne (Tindell) Foster in Joplin, Missouri. Bobby also had one sibling, Judy Haney, of Joplin, who preceded him in death on June 19, 2013.

He was a lifelong resident of Webb City, graduating with the Class of 1962. Following High School Graduation, Bobby went on to attend Joplin Junior College before following in his father's footsteps in becoming a Tool & Die maker for Spike's Tool & Die (Webb City) and later Frontier Tool & Engineering (Joplin) where he would later retire in 1990. He also was proud to serve his country in the Army National Guard.

On June 5, 1964 Bobby married his high school sweetheart, Judy Lawrence in Webb City, Missouri. Together they shared 58 wonderful years of marriage and raised two daughters.

Over the years, Bobby enjoyed woodworking, home improvement projects, and fixing anything that needed to be attended to. He also enjoyed time spent with several family dogs through the years, as he was an animal lover. But his favorite pastime was spending his life with family. He loved giving his grandchildren countless scooter rides around the block, sharing popsicles, and numerous backyard adventures when they were young. As they have since gotten older, he loved to hear their life stories, give helpful advice, and always enjoyed staying updated in their daily activities.

Bobby was a very devoted and giving husband, father, papa to seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Always willing to offer help wherever and whenever it was needed. A selfless, kind hearted, dedicated family man who simply wanted the best for everyone around him. A man of his word, who would do anything for anyone is how he will be remembered.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Judy Foster, of Webb City, MO; two daughters, Kimberly Coss (husband, Marty) of Webb City, MO, and Leslie Capron (husband, Patrick) of Webb City, MO.
