Andrew P. Dodson, age 24, Of Joplin, MO, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at 2:48
a.m. of injuries received in an accident on north Main in Joplin.
Andrew was born on October 20, 1998, in Joplin, the son of Jeremy and Susan (Hoskins)
Dodson. Andrew was a graduate of Joplin High School. He worked as a waiter at the
Blackstone Gastro Bistro.
He enjoyed going fishing and hunting. He loved his daughters more than anything in the world.
Andrew is survived by his parents, the mother of his children, Sophie Atkinson and his two
daughters Violet L. and Scarlett E. Dodson of Joplin, his brother Jack Dodson of Joplin, his
Paternal Grandparents, Hugh and Nancy Dodson of Webb City and his Maternal Grandmother
Joyce Fieker of Joplin.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to a fund for Andrew's children in the name of Jeremy and Susan Dodson in care of the mortuary.
A Memorial Visitation will be 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Mason-Woodard Chapel. The
family is asking that donations be given to the family for his daughters.
