Obituary for Iris Dean Osborn (Condon)
Iris Osborn, age 94, of Neosho, MO, passed away on Friday October 6, 2022, following long-fulfilled life.
Iris was born May 23, 1928 in Alba, MO, the daughter of the late Andrew and Beulah (Allen) Condon. She graduated from Alba Highschool. She met and married Kenneth Oren Osborn on April 6, 1946, and together they were blessed with two children. Iris worked many years for the Missouri Department of Revenue at the license bureau. She retired in 1991. She was a member of the Friendly Neighbors Club. She enjoyed walking, traveling, bowling, shopping and going out to eat.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Osborn on February 8, 1997. She was also preceded in death by her son, Daniel Osborn on July 28, 1996.
Iris is survived by her daughter, Donna Piquard and husband Lloyd, Neodesha, KS; five grandchildren, David Osborn and wife Kelli, Neosho, MO, Erin Garren and husband Artie, Neosho, MO, Amanda McLeod and husband Steven, Siloam Springs, AR, Alicia Newland and husband Justin, Neodesha, KS, and Amber Songer and husband Micah, Neodesha, KS; her daughter-in-law, Estella Osborn, Neosho, MO; fifteen great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday October 17 at Mason-Woodard Chapel. Reverend Dallas Martin will officiate. The visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, prior to the service. Burial will be in Osborne Memorial Cemetery.
The pallbearers will be Lane Osborn, Daniel Garren, Logan McLeod, Jon Newland, Wyatt Songer, McKinley Songer, John Wallace and Miciah Songer. Honorary pallbearers will be Drew Osborn and McKadin Songer.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Susan G. Komen Cancer Society.
