Obituary for Kyran A. Addington

We are heartbroken to announce that our precious boy, Kyran Alton Addington, tragically left this world on September 10th, 2022 at the age of 17. Although he left us way too soon, he touched so many lives.

Kyran was born June 11th, 2005, to Josh and Kenya (Marti) Addington. Kyran was a junior at Carl Junction High School. This summer, Kyran and his friends became entrepreneurs when they started their own successful power washing and lawn care service.

Kyran enjoyed many activities over the years, including football, wrestling, archery, fishing, skiing and dirt bikes. His greatest passion was hunting and bow fishing with his buddies. He recently purchased a 1969 Firebird that he was in the process of restoring.

Kyran was known for his incredible smile, huge heart, and making everyone around him laugh. He loved his family and showed it every day through his endless hugs and his “I love you's.” Kyran will always be in our thoughts and forever in our hearts.

Kyran will be greatly missed by his dad and mom; Josh and Kenya Addington, his “little” brother; Kyler Addington, his grandpas and grandmas; Joey and Jackie Addington and Kenneth “Hairy” Marti, great-grandmas; Minnie (Granny) Rose and Juanita Sinn, aunts and uncles; Jared and Tara Addington and Jennifer Marti, step-uncles and aunts; Kyle & Jenny Marti, Jackie Blaser, Brad & Julie Forst and Jessi Blaser, cousins; Cameron and Cayle Addington, Chrislyn, Jaxon and Kyson Dixon, step-cousins; Lane, Wylee and Kally Duncan, Ayden, Rustin, Trevon and Truman Forst, and so many more family and friends.

Embracing him in Heaven, are grandmas and grandpas, Rebecca (Nana) Blaser, Randy Blaser, Patricia Marti; Great grandmas and grandpas, Dean and Arlene Marti, Oliver (Buzz) Sinn, and LeeRoy Rose; step grandpa and grandma, Dean and Dolores Blaser.

This is not a goodbye to Kyran. This will be a Fly High/See You Soon Celebration of Kyran. He was never into formalities, so we will meet at the pond behind our house at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2022. Following the service, we will gather during a time of visitation.

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to wear your favorite Red, White & Blues.

The family would also like to let everyone know that if you would like to see Kyran, please go by Mason-Woodard Mortuary anytime until Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
