Obituary for Eugene Leroy Graybill
Eugene Leroy Graybill, age 79, of Joplin, Mo, passed away on Thursday September 8, 2022, following an illness.
Eugene was born on April 20, 1943, in Oroville, CA, the son of the late Charles and Dorothy (Coffin) Graybill. He served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a faithful full member of Joplin Full Gospel Church. He was also a member of the D.A.V. He worked many years as a custodian for Eagle Picher Industries.
He married Carolyn Kay Crumpton on March 21, 2001, in Miami, OK, and she survives. He is survived by two children; Melanie Miller and Timmy Graybill. He is also survived by two step-sons; Paul Miller and his wife Ersula, Joplin, MO, J.R. Miller of Joplin MO; six grandchildren, Lillie, Jordan Walker, Jesse Miller, Dustin Davis, Emily Mathis and Bayle Davis, one great-grandson, Jas; sisters and brothers-in-law; Patty & Dennis Seay of Republic, MO., Susan & Dennis Burton of Arizona. He was preceded in death by one step-daughter, Angela Mathis.
The family will hold services at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 16, 2022 at the Joplin Full Gospel Church. Pastor Josh Patrick will officiate.
