Obituary for Karlene Felker
Karlene Marie (Whited) Felker, age 80 of Riverton, KS., passed away on Monday, August 8, 2022.
Karlene was born on July 21, 1942, in Joplin, MO., the daughter of Carl and Marie Whited. She married the love of her life Allen Felker on May 9, 1959 in Miami, Oklahoma.
She attended Joplin High School and later worked in the cafeteria for the Joplin School District for 19 years. Karlene was a member of The House of Prayer where she attended in Riverton, Kansas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Marie Whited, her daughter Brenda Felker, and brother Dean Whited.
She is survived by two daughters; Debby Felker Harmon (Rowland), and Cheryle Felker Moser (Bill), sister, Karen Whited Cordova, brother, Rod Whited, five grandchildren; Lacey Harmon -Baker (Michael), Kandi Harmon - Dogotch (Jacob), Sydney Dietz, Savannah Moser, Austin Moser, nine great grandchildren; Alivia, Brynlee, Colson, Eli, Zane, Lydia, Nolan, Waylon, and Dawson.
Graveside services have been scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 12, 2022, at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends during a time of visitation from 6:00 – 7:00 pm on Thursday, August 11 at Mason-Woodard Mortuary.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
