David H. Winters, 79, of Joplin, MO passed way at Landmark Hospital, Joplin, Missouri, on June, 23, 2022. David was born on December 26, 1942 to the late Clarence A. Winters Sr. and Mary Louise Varner Winters. A life long resident of Joplin and long time employee of Sheltered Workshop from where he retired. David is survived by his two sisters Laurana (John) Arnold of Ohio and Rowena (Bill) Helms of Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Marlyn Sue Winters of Haysville, KS; nephews, Steven (Angela) Winters of Alton and Michael Winters of Joplin; three great nephews and three great nieces. Along with his parents, David is preceded in death by his brother Clarence A Winters Jr. and nephew, James R. Winters.
