Obituary for Leslie C. Wilson
Leslie Charlene Ramsey Wilson was born on April 28th, 1962 in Harrison, Arkansas to Charlotte and Charles Ramsey. In 1980, she graduated from Deer High School in Deer, AR. She met the love her life, Jimmie Wilson, during bowling league in Harrison, AR. They later married on July 27th, 1989 in Jasper, AR and welcomed their first child in November of 1989. They later welcomed three more boys into the world by 1999.
During her working years, Leslie worked jobs anywhere from fast food to being a legal secretary. She became a full time mom in 1999 when she became pregnant with her final child.
While Leslie enjoyed many things, she mostly enjoyed spending time with family, fishing, doing jigsaw puzzles, taking care of her five ferrets, and watching Below Deck and old westerns.
Leslie passed away around 4:00pm on June 13th, 2022 in the comfort of her own home. She is preceded in death by her father Charles Ramsey, and sister Debbie Ramsey. She is survived by her mother Charlotte Ramsey of Berryville, AR; husband, Jimmie Wilson of Joplin, MO; four children, Justin Wilson of Joplin, MO, Nathan and wife Tiffany Wilson of Carl Junction, MO, Austin Wilson, Darian Wilson of Joplin, MO; five siblings, Jewelle and husband Chris Trask of Green Forest, AR, Valerie and husband Bob Cosentino of Cathlamet, WA, Phillip and wife Lori Ramsey of Greers Ferry, AR, Tony and wife Elisa Ramsey of Springdale, AR, Matthew and wife Heather Ramsey of Hot Springs, SD. She is also survived by six grandchildren and many other nieces and nephews.
