Pat peacefully went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 6, 2022. She was born June 13, 1935 in Sarcoxie, Mo to Clyde and Geneva (Barttrum) Holland.
Pat received an associate degree at Joplin Jr. College in 1957. She was an active member of her church (First Methodist), Shriners Women’s and Elks Ladies club. She had a beautiful contralto voice, sang in her church choir, and soloed at many events around Joplin. She was an avid bowler, enjoyed politics, and golfing. Pat was preceded in death by her husband, William Palmer, her daughter, Kathy Brandon, and her parents. Pat treasured ten wonderful years with her friend, Bill Bowman. He passed in 2009. She is survived by her sister Sue Jordan of Belton, Mo.
A funeral service has been scheduled for Wednesday at 2:00 pm at the Mason-Woodard Chapel. The family will receive friends at 1:30 pm, prior to service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary.
