Obituary for Zane "Steve" Farren
Zane “Steve” Farren, age 70 of Joplin, Missouri passed away Thursday November 25, 2021
He was born December 20, 1950, in Neosho, Missouri, the son of, Bill Farren and Marlene Boyer.
Steve was a heavy equipment operator for Estes Construction as well as for himself. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, and the Kansas City Chiefs. He loved his yellow truck and spending time with the grandkids.
He married Connie Keys on September 16, 1983.
Steve is survived by his wife Connie. Steve is also survived by one son Brad Farren, Cedar Creek, Missouri; three daughters, Brandy Riddle and husband Cliff, Springfield, Missouri, Mandy Alexander and fiancé, Steve Guthrie, Stotts City, Missouri, April Strickland and husband Casey, Joplin, Missouri; nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren; two brothers Mark Farren and Scott Farren, as well as numerous extended family and friends.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Dan Farren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday December 4, 2021, at Mason-Woodard Mortuary with Pastor Dr. Hank Deslatte officiating. Burial will follow at Ozark Memorial Park cemetery. The family will receive friends 12:00-2:00 pm prior to the service.
