Obituary for Jeremy Jay Cooper
Jeremy Jay Cooper, age 42, passed away on Thursday April 29. 2021, from a sudden illness.
Jeremy was born on May 18, 1978 in Colorado Springs, Co, the son of Vincent and Christine Cooper. He worked most of his life in the restaurant industry and most recently for Instacart. He married Melissa Grieshaber on January 29, 2009. He enjoyed golf, reading, Sci-Fi movies, and watching TV shows.
Jeremy is survived by his wife, Melissa Cooper, Webb City; a daughter, Kimberly Thornton, Jacksonville, FL; three stepdaughters, Audrey Mackenzie and husband John, Cheyenne Tallent and husband Dakota Smith, Springfield, MO, and MaRanda O’Dell and husband Ryan, Grandview. MO; and a brother, Johnathan Desch, Denver, CO.
The family has planned a memorial service for Jeremy at 12:00 p.m. Saturday at The Light Church in Joplin.
Jeremy’s cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
