Obituary for Dana L. Heffington
Dana Lee Heffington, age 86 of Wichita, Ks., went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 31, 2020 in Wichita, Ks.
Dana was born in little Rock, Ar. to Robert and Dorothy (Carraway) Duffey on December 23, 1934. She married John L. Heffington on February 10th, 1953 in Little Rock, Ar., he preceded her in death on February 28, 2017. She worked as a CSR in medical supply and retired in 1994. Her favorite pastimes were crocheting afghans for family and friends and reading books. She had such a deep love for her Savior, family, and her pets.
Dana is survived by two sons, John Daniel Heffington and Timothy Mark Heffington and a daughter, Joanna Watkins, and a sister, Deborah Kay Duffey. She also has 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral services have been postponed due to COVID. Burial will be at Forest Park Cemetery. The family has chosen a virtual viewing prior to burial during operating hours at the funeral home.
