Obituary for Vicki Thrasher
Vicki M. Thrasher, age 65, of Joplin, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2020 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin.
Mrs. Thrasher, daughter of the late, Frank and Elsie (Hodges) Anderson, was born on May 3, 1955 in Spring City, MO. On March 10, 1976 she was united in marriage to Jim Thrasher.
A loving mother and homemaker, Vicki was also a remarkable grandmother. Her grandchildren were the apple of her eye and enjoyed being active in their life. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Joplin.
Survivors include her husband, Jim Thrasher, of Joplin; two sons, Jimmy Thrasher II, and his wife, Erica, of Monett, and William Thrasher, of Kansas City; one daughter, Stormi Howard, and her husband, Brad, of Joplin; three grandchildren, Nolan Howard, Jaxon Howard, and Kaden Howard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Walter Anderson.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, October 19, 2020 at 10:00 am at the Fullerton Cemetery in Carthage, MO. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 18th from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm at the Mason-Woodard Mortuary in Joplin. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bethel Baptist Church and may be entrusted to the mortuary.
