Ruby Lee Sheehan, age 91 of Joplin, Mo., passed away early Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin.
Ruby was born on December 21, 1928 in Wynn, Ar. the daughter of E.M. and Myrtle (Worwick) Sullens. She has been a long-time area resident, Ruby worked as an In-Home Aide for Oxford Hospice before retiring in 2012. She loved to garden and do crafts and projects, Ruby also enjoyed writing poetry. She was a member of Harmony Heights Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son; Michael Baysinger of Joplin, two sisters; Marie Belben of Kansas City, Ks., Candy Ruiz of Eldon, Mo., one brother; Dale Sullens also of Eldon, very special friends; Marilyn Spidle and Terry Wachaob, three grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Sheehan, a son; Mark Baysinger, and three brothers, Gerald Sullens, Lloyd Sullens and Arthur Junior Sullens.
Graveside services have been scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at Forest Park Cemetery in Joplin. The family will receive friends during a time of visitation prior to the service from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.
