Obituary for Jewell Rogers
Jewell Rogers, went into the arms of Jesus July 15, 2020. Jewell was born July 1,1932, to George and Rena Wilkins in Sardis, Oklahoma.
Working as a waitress in Alameda, California, at a small cafe she met Billy Rogers. On October 24, 1959 they were married. Through the 59 years they shared together they made many great memories traveling, fostering, adopting and raising their 3 sons.
Survivors include brothers Jimmy and Jerry Wilkins, son Richard Rogers, 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Jewell is preceded in death by her husband Billy Rogers, sons, Jerry and Stephen Rogers, sisters Ada Walker, Nona Middleton, Lorraine Minyard, and brothers Jesse, Leon, Dale, VJ and Harold Wilkins.
Family will have a private service to honor the life of Jewell Rogers.
