Obituary for Robert Michael Goodson
Robert Michael Goodson, age 48, of Joplin, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2020 in Joplin.
Rob Goodson, son of Robert H. and Donna (Jackson) Goodson, was born on June 17, 1972 in Dallas, TX. His family moved to Joplin when he was just three years old. He grew up in Joplin and graduated from Joplin High School. He was employed at Casey’s General Store. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a lover of music, history, cars, games, the Dallas Cowboys, and animals, especially cats. He was a wonderful father, brother, son, and friend. He will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his parents, Robert and Donna Goodson, of Joplin; two daughters, Brittnie and Mary Goodson, both of Joplin; one sister, Angela Goodson, and her husband, Robert Gillespie, of Springfield.
The family will receive friends for a time of memorial visitation on Thursday, June 25, 2020 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at the Mason-Woodard Mortuary in Joplin. Private family committal of ashes will be held at Reeds Cemetery in Reeds, MO.
