Obituary for Regina Chaffin
Regina M. Chaffin passed away on Monday May 18, 2020 at her home in Joplin following a sudden illness.
Regina was born on August 21, 1962 in Alva, Oklahoma to the late Jim and Barbara (Coss) Corbin.
She began her medical career with Newton County Ambulance Service, she received her RN License and went to work at Oak Hill Hospital then Freeman Hospital she was currently working at the 32nd street Surgery Center. Regina enjoyed raising her chickens, Antiquing and going to Auctions.
She married Jeff Chaffin on August 3, 1996 in Laurie, Mo. and he survives, additional survivors include her two sons Cody Chaffin and his wife Brianna of Joplin and Corbin Chaffin of the home, a brother Jim Corbin and his wife Paula of Seneca, Mo, and her sister Tina Cooley of Joplin.
The family will receive friends during a time of visitation from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday at Mason-Woodard Mortuary.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
