Obituary for Phyllis J. Eaton
God received another Angel on Sunday, February 16, 2020, at the passing of Phyllis J. Eaton, age 72, of Joplin.
Phyllis was born on June 23, 1947 in Ft. Smith, AR, the daughter of the late John E. and Leora “Dolly” (Smith) Blackwood. She worked twenty years in customer service for Wal-Mart.
Phyllis is survived by her husband Ross Eaton, Webb City, MO; her daughter, Sherry Dieter and husband Curtis, Van Buren, AR.; a son Sean Trammell and wife LaDonna, Muldrow, OK; two sisters, Lorreta Sims and husband Bill, Ft. Smith, AR; and Connie Bruce and husband Ronnie, Muldrow, OK; and four grandchildren, Noah, Shelby, Xander, and Trenton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, John Blackwood, Jr.
A Memorial service will be held at a later date.
