Inez V. Ball, age 97, formerly of Duenweg, passed away peacefully at her daughters’ home in Eagle Rock on November 30, 2019. Mrs. Ball, daughter of the late Joe and Ellen (Coddle) Williams was born on November 30, 1922 in Duenweg. In December of 1938 she was united in marriage to Charles Green. They were married for 34 before he passed in August 1972. Together they had three children, one son, Charles W. Green, daughter, Phyllis Hight, both preceded her in death, and daughter, Patty Barbee, and her husband, Steve, of Eagle Rock. Later, Inez married Leroy Ball. They were married for 16 years before Leroy passed in 1988. She was of the Christian faith and a member of the Duenweg Baptist Church. She is loved and will be missed by her family.

Additional survivors include 12 grandchildren; several great and great-great grandchildren; and four nieces and one nephew. In addition to her parents, husbands, and children, Inez was also preceded in death by one step-son, Larry Ball; two sisters, Maycle Crawford, and infant sister; two brothers, Dale Williams and Andrew Paul Williams; her Step-dad, Joe Ball; step-sister, Doris McMichael; and one step-brother, Leo Ball.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Carterville Cemetery in Carterville with Randy Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 4th starting at 1:00pm at the Mason-Woodard Mortuary in Joplin. Memorial contributions may be made to the MS Foundation and may be entrusted to the mortuary.
