Obituary for Nicklaus "Nic" Ramsey
Nicklaus “Nic” A. Ramsey, age 31, of Joplin passed away on Tuesday July 9, 2019, following an illness.
Nic was born on October 7, 1987 in Joplin, Mo., the son of Christopher Ramsey and Linda (Clinton) Theus. He has been a resident of Joplin most of his life. He worked as a welder for Faurecia Clean Mobility in Dexter, Mo. He was an avid fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and the Kansas City Royals. He enjoyed reading DC and Marvel Comics and spending time with his friends and family. He married Alicia (Vannasdall) Ramsey on October 4, 2012 in Miami, Ok. and together they had three children.
Nic is survived by his mother, Linda Theus, Joplin; his father, Christopher Ramsey, Joplin; his wife Alicia Ramsey, Joplin; his children Alura, Nya and Talia Ramsey, Joplin; one brother, D’Artagnan Brisco, Joplin; one sister, Suzette Ramsey, Charlotte, NC. His brother from another mother and best friend, Michael Dobson and his wife Christina of Sarcoxie, Mo., Billy Sharp of Carl Junction, Mo., his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday July 13, 2019 at One Church Joplin, Mo. The visitation will be 6-7:00 p.m. Friday at Mason-Woodard Chapel. Memorial contributions may be given to American Heart Association in care of the mortuary. Family has requested that friends and family please dress in their favorite Kansas City Chiefs or Kansas City Royals attire for services.
