Raymond Baker, age 66 of Joplin, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Joplin Health and Rehab. Mr. Baker, son of the late William “Clark” and Mabel (Smith) Baker, was born on January 19, 1953 in Joplin. Raymond was a life long area resident. After graduating high school, he worked for Joplin Workshops, was a handy man around town and attended First Gospel Workers Church in Joplin. He enjoyed riding his bike around town, going to various flea markets, and “junking.” He will be remembered by his family as a great storyteller and miss his personality that could light up a room.
