Arthur W. Neal, age 87, of Pittsburg, Ks passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at his home. Mr. Neal, son of the late Arthur William and Anna (Hickman) Neal, was born on April 26, 1931 in Girard, Ks. In 1964 he was united in marriage to Helen Johnson in Seattle, WA. She preceded him in death on November 27, 2015. He worked as an auto detailer and was employed with Kourm Nissan in the state of Washington until his retirement in 1994. Arthur enjoyed his time fishing, fixing cars, and trips to the casino. His most enjoyable moments were spent with his grandchildren whom he dearly loved.

Survivors include one son, Merle Neal, of Moses Lake, WA; two daughters, Jacqueline Stevens, and her husband, Thomas, of Chehalis, WA, and Marie Poulin, and her husband, David, of Graham, WA; one grandson; five granddaughters; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Virgil, John, Tommy, and Loren Neal; one sister, Cleo McElwain; and one great-grandson.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory in Joplin.
