Grandmothers love

I will always remember my grandmother and the unconditional love she showed. Her house always felt like home, there was always food and fun. She was a chef in the kitchen and a ninja with house slippers. Many people say she was "sassy" some may even say she was stearn, but to me she was amazing. She was always honest even when it was uncomfortable. If she had harsh words it was only because she expected better from you and she knew you were capable. You never had to wonder if she liked you or not because she would let you know. Her honesty and expectations came from her heart. She was always the first to defend her family and she held the family together in a way that no one else can. I know she is watching us all now from wherever it is we go after this life. I know that she would want the family to heal and to come back together. In our sorrow i hope we all find forgiveness and for her memory we become the family she would have us be. I love and miss you Grandma. Rest easy knowing you did a great job and the next watch is ours.
