James Heck, age 83 of Aurora, Mo. passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin following a sudden illness.
James was born October 11, 1935 in Council Bluff, Ia,. The son of Delbert and Maude (Belt) Heck. He was employed for Tyson raising hogs before retiring in 2001. He married Anna Walker on October 1, 1957 in Las Vegas, NV, she proceeded him in death.
Survivors include four daughters, Leila Alcorn of Gentry, Ark., Florence Vineyard of Aurora, Mo., Doris Wright of Arkoma, Ok., Tammy Harris of Springdale, Ark.; one brother, Tom Woods of Pleasant Prairie, Wi.; one sister Doresa Dressler of Grisham, Or.; eleven grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he was proceeded in death by one son, James Heck, Jr.; one daughter Maude Heck; one brother Delbert Heck Jr.; two sisters Florence Taylor and Sally Bell, and one granddaughter Mary Heck.
