Message to the Family: I'll never forget Uncle Steve sharing his love of baseball with me. It's because of him that I became a huge Stl Cardinals fan. I haven't seen Uncle Steve in almost 2 decades, but I'll always remember how he took the time to talk when I visited him. I know this must be hard for his immediate family and I'm so sorry for your loss.

I remember when I used to go over to your house every weekend before you got married and we always had a lot of fun and when you used to take me and Jon Jon to The Spook Houses and the carnival too. And I remember when you took Shortie for the first time to see Santa Claus.
