Condolence: Since hearing of Avis passing, my thoughts have embraced so many memories of her family . . All of you were such a big part of my life . . From Doc delivering me 70 years ago to him delivering my son 23 years later--the first, 2nd generation delivery for him . . The countless times Avis and Doc would just drop in for a cup of instant Maxwell House--for no reason--just a visit around our kitchen table . . The house calls--caring for all of us for so many years and Avis was so often with him . . The sewing machine that always had a project laid out that Avis was working on for someone . . School days and special friendships with the kids . . Richard pushing his lawn mower all over town each summer for spending money . . 20 years ago August 5th Mama went away--it never gets easier but you all have each other and such precious memories, as do I . .
