Jerome A. Jensen, age 47, of Joplin, Mo. passed away at 4:27 p.m. Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Mercy Hospital Joplin following a sudden heart attack. Jerome was born January 28, 1971 in Des Moines, Iowa. He has lived in Joplin since 1981. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from MSSU. Jerome was employed with U.P.S. for the last 20 years. He was a member of the Teamster’s Union Local #823. Jerome attended College Heights Christian Church and previously attended Christ’s Community United Methodist Church.

Jerome married Jodi Lowe August 20, 2011 in Eureka Springs, Ar. and she survives. Additional survivors include two daughters, Adalyn and Ava Jensen of the home, his Father, Wayne Jensen (Carol), Vancouver, Wa., his Mother, Rene Killion (Larry), Joplin, two brothers,
Tony Jensen (Tracy), Webb City, Mo. and Tracy Killion (Renee), Joplin, and his Paternal Grandmother, Marion Tomforde, Rochester, Mn.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Mason-Woodard Chapel with Sy Huffer, Minister, officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Webb City. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Mortuary. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mason-Woodard Mortuary of Joplin, Mo.
