Obituary for Peggy A. Clute (Bottles)

Peggy A.  Clute (Bottles)
Webb City, Mo. Peggy A. Clute, age 80, of Webb City, Mo. passed away at 7:12 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Mercy Hospital Joplin. Peggy was born August 8, 1937 in Kansas City, Mo. and had lived in Webb City over 50 years after being raised in Pineville, Mo. She served as an administrative assistant with ICI Explosives, formerly Atlas Powder Co. prior to her retirement. She was a graduate of Joplin Junior College. She was a member of the Webb City Church of the Nazarene, and a member of the VFW Bingo Club.

Peggy married Estes (Bud) Clute September 20, 1957 in Overland Park, Ks. He preceded her in death on March 26, 2011. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Shawna Palone, a son, Robbie Clute, and a grandson, Petey Clute. Survivors include a daughter, Kim Powell and husband Claude, Webb City, a son, Garry Clute, Webb City, a son-in-law, Wade Palone, Alba, Mo. a brother, Jim Bottles and wife Joyce, Webb City, sister-in-law, Patsy Glauser of Overland Park, Ks., nine grandchildren; Chad Powell and wife Karen, Casey Kean, Justin Clute and wife Ngan, Joshua Clute and wife Naddia, Whitney Clute, Ryan Clute, Cheyann Meador and husband Jonathan, Carson Powell and wife Anna Lynne, and Tucker Palone and wife Samantha, and 9 great-grandchildren, Madison, Taegan, Sophia, Jackson, Ella, Jaxson, Harper, Myles, Corbyn and many more that called her Grandma Peggy.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Webb City Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Nathan Haeck officiating. Burial will follow at the Mt. Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. Sunday at the Mortuary. Memorial contributions are requested to a memorial fund set up for the family in care of the Mortuary. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mason-Woodard Mortuary of Joplin, Mo.
