Condolences

Condolence From: Roger Ball
Condolence: Chuck was the pastor of Warren's Branch Baptist Church north of Seneca. I was baptized after accepting the Lord as my Savior by Chuck in some of the coldest baptismal water because the heater did not work! I also remember Chuck coming out to the farm to hunt squirrels. I learned from him how to "call" a squirrel out in order to get a better shot. He had some interesting stories to tell. His passion for Christ; his dedication to his churches; and his service to the country will not be forgotten.

Condolence: Vividly remember Chuck and Shirley from the late 1940s & early 1950s when we all were members of the Friendship Baptist Church on east 15th in Joplin. Chuck and a Shirley were excellent role models for the abundance of younger people who attended along with them. They were always at the church if the doors were open. Chuck was so handsome in his military uniform and Shirley was a beautiful lifetime mate.

Condolence: Bill and Stephanie, so sorry for your loss! I can only imagine the smile on Shirley’s face when they got to see each other again. I can see the two of them sitting with my dad reminiscing about good times. We loved Mr Edwards so much! I remember spending many hours riding in the front seat of his car and enjoying his favorite candy with him - Jolly Ranchers - Apple to be exact. We have so many sweet memories with Chuck and Shirley. We love them so much. Praying for each of you. Sandy Crutchfield Barnes
