Obituary for Daniel Lee Farren

Daniel Lee  Farren
Daniel Lee Farren, age 68 of Joplin, Mo. passed away on June 22, 2017 at his home.
Dan was born on March 2, 1949 in Joplin, the son of Bill Farren and Marlene (Boyer) McCormack. He has been a lifetime area resident, Dan proudly served his country as part of the U.S. Marine Corps. Following his service, he returned home and worked as an electrician for many years until illness forced him to retire in 2002. He was a member of Forest Park Baptist Church.
Survivors include his daughter; Lindsay Campbell of Middletown, N.J., three brothers; Steve Farren and wife Connie of Joplin, Mark Farren of Longmont, Co., Scott Farren and wife Renee of Port St. Lucie, Fl., two step-sisters; Janet Fisher and husband Craig of Joplin, Phyllis Pearce and husband Tom of Joplin, and three grandchildren; Aidan, Mackenzie and Cameron. Dan was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service has been scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 26, 2017 at the Mason-Woodard Chapel. Pastor Hank Deslatte, will officiate. The family will receive friends during a time of visitation following the service on Monday.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
