Condolence From: Larry Denny
Condolence: Barb, You don't know me, but I'm so sorry to hear of Randy's passing. He was a classmate of mine at the Pekin, Eastern High School and we graduated together in 1964. He was a great friend and we had many memories together, especially during that time when the "BEATLES" were popular. We both loved to sing, and we formed a group called "THE BUGS" Randy sang tenor, I sang Baritone, Terry Bartenan sang Bass and Jimmy Luse sang lead. No professional engagements of course, but we sang for several school functions and local events. Randy was always a true blue guy, would help anyone. He loved sports as you know and skillfully played guard position on our basketball team. Blessings to you and yours.

Condolence From: Dorothy Riutta
Condolence: Hi Barb and family, I am so very saddened to hear of Randy's passing. I have such fond memories of working with Randy at Rehab Associates in the early 90s. We had so much fun and many laughs at work and at Christmas parties and other events. I always ask Mark if he has any news about Randy when I see him. Randy was always so open and kind. Even though I only worked with him for those few years I have always felt him to be a very good friend. My deepest sympathy to you and your whole family. With love, Dorothy Riutta

Condolence: Randy was the finest friend and person that anyone could ever ask for. Even though the Owsley family left our area many years ago, I have never forgotten the wonderful times and fellowship that we enjoyed together. Randy will be greatly missed but long remembered and appreciated. See you in a few years! Read B.

Condolence From: Dan West
Condolence: Dear Barb, My name is Dan West and I was a student trainer under Randy at Tech from 1976 to 1980 and just learned of his passing. I am so sad for you and your family. I had asked Darcy Way at Tech just last week to get Randy's contact information for me as he was in my thoughts and I was wondering how he was doing. He just sent me this news. I last saw Randy in the mid 1990s when he came to Muskegon to interview for a job with the cardiac rehab program. Working with him as a trainer played a big part in my decision to become a physician and I will be forever in his debt. Sincerely, Dan West

Condolence: Dear Barb I too was an athletic trainer at Tech along with Dan. I have often told people that I learned more from Randy and from being a trainer than I did from any of my courses. He was a phenomenal man and my experience with him cannot be compared to anything else. Randy was loved by our entire famiy! I am so very sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family Dave Ziegler
