*Covid 19 PUBLIC NOTICE *
In light of the recent development of the City of Joplin, Missouri imposing a limit of no more than 10 people, in accordance with the Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines.
We at Mason-Woodard Mortuary will follow these restrictions. As of Monday, March 23, 2020, no more than 10 people at a time will be allowed to attend a funeral.
What this means to everyone is that funerals have been limited but can still take place. We will do everything in our power to provide the same quality of service you have come to expect from us, to the families we serve. Families will be given the option to have their services now or wait until a later date once the restriction has ended.
Unfortunately, this will limit those who attend to pretty much just family members. We ask that everyone please allow for family members to attend services unless instructed otherwise by the family themselves.
For the rest of the public, we will be providing streaming services (per the family’s approval) via our Vimeo page and posts to our Facebook page later(Link Below). We do not know how this will affect visitations, but we are currently working on a plan to work within these restrictions. We ask for your patience and understanding. We do not like having to serve in a restrictive capacity but are working with families to the best of our abilities.
