Shirley M. Schell, age 73, of Tulsa, Ok., passed away on Friday July 20, 2012 at her home in Tulsa, following an illness.

Shirley was born on August 14, 1938 in Powell, Mo., the daughter of the late Chester Woodard and Oleta (Banks) Laughlin. She worked for Boeing Aircraft in Wichita before moving to Tulsa in 1968. She attended the 10th and Rockford Church of Christ in Tulsa. She enjoyed collecting antiques and Barbies.

Shirley married Donnie Schell on June 2, 1957 in Baxter Springs, Ks, and he survives. Additional survivors include; one son, Brad Schell and his wife Rebecca of Tulsa, Ok. Two Sisters, Clyta Brewer and Joyce Botts both of Wichita, Ks., Two grandchildren, Kara Renee Gourd and her husband Bruce and Scott Allen Schell of Tulsa,. One great grandchild, Breanna Gourd of Tulsa.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Pea Ridge Church of Christ. Tom Burr, Minister, will officiate. Burial will be in Pea Ridge Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 2-3 p.m. Tuesday at the Pea Ridge Church of Christ.
