Obituary for Daniel S. Adams
Daniel was born on August 23, 1935 in Douglas, Arizona, the son of Clyde and Dorothy (Dearborn) Adams. He has lived in the Webb City area most of his life. He married Dortha Carey on September 24, 1954 in Oronogo, MO. Together they raised two daughters. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He worked 32 years as an Electronics Technician for Mardick Furniture. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Webb City.
He is survived by his wife, Dortha Adams, Webb City, MO, two daughters, Gina Monson (Rick) of Webb City, MO and Valerie Glaze (Oran Baker) of Joplin, MO; one sister, Martha Alford of Waco, MO; and one granddaughter, Stephanie Alburty (Jonathan). He was preceded in death by one brother, John Adams.
The Family wishes to express a special thank you to Three Rivers Hospice and ComForCare Home Health.
Graveside committal of ashes service will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Webb City, MO at the Pavilion located at the Veteran’s Memorial, at 10:30am, Monday, August 27, 2018.
Memorial contributions may be given to First Baptist Church of Webb City in care of the Mortuary. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory,
