Condolence From: Shawn DeGraff
Condolence: George was one of a handful of men in Smithfield that formed the backbone of the community. Along with Linda, they were another set of your parents that kept a watchful eyes over others. Always quiet, George impressed you with his Christian demeanor, and his gift of helping others. I can’t help but conclude that a piece of our community is gone, until we meet him again in the presence of Jesus Christ. Our prayers are with the family...

Condolence From: Terri Gooodwin
Condolence: I was blessed to have this man as my uncle. He was a treasure. I have so many wonderful memories! He had integrity, honor, worked hard and he had humor. He adored his family. I admired the true love he shared with my Aunt Linda; my mom's sister. And God. Talk about a life well lived. Everyone I knew saw him for the great man that he was. What a blessing. I will never forget his kindness or how he always knew what to say to make you smile. He was amazing. He always will be. I am gonna miss my Uncle George but he will never be forgotten.
