Marilyn J. Sisco, age 59 of Oronogo, Mo., passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Mo., following an illness.

Marilyn was born on October 11, 1958 in Denver, Co., the daughter of Warren and Helen (Paige) Feurt. She has been a long-time area resident, Marilyn spent her days loving and caring for her family as a homemaker. She was a member of the Carterville First Baptist Church. She enjoyed going fishing and gardening.

She married Randy Sisco on May 30, 1980, he survives. Additional survivors include a daughter; Miranda Wintheiser and husband Jon of Kasson, Minn., a brother, Steven Feurt of Joplin. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Ross Feurt.

A memorial service has been scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 5, 2018 at the Carterville First Baptist Church. Pastor Darren Wallace, will officiate. The family will receive friends during a time of visitation prior to the start of the service, starting at 10:00 a.m. Friday.

The family has requested contributions be given to the First Baptist Church of Carterville in care of the Mortuary.
