Obituary for Frances Mae Schroeder (Rudel)

Carthage, Mo. Frances Mae Schroeder, age 101, of Carthage, Mo., a longtime Santa Cruz, California resident, passed away at 3:00 a.m. Sunday, October 15, 2017 at St. Luke’s Nursing Center in Carthage. Frances was born May 26, 1916 in Fessenden, North Dakota. She moved to Carthage one year ago from Santa Cruz, California. She was a Homemaker, and also assisted her late husband in Ministry. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Santa Cruz.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis F. Schroeder in 1971. Survivors include two daughters, Beverly Scroggins, Carthage, Mo. and Renee Skerry and husband Howard, Santa Cruz, California, three grandchildren; Karen Hayes and husband Sam, Kevin Scroggins, and Alexis Skerry, and two great grandchildren; Trent Hayes and wife MiLeah, and Kyle Hayes.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 5, 2017 at the Rollins Creek Clubhouse, 1900 Bluebird Way, Carthage, Mo. with Murray Hollis, Minister, officiating. Memorial contributions are requested to Rapha House, P.O. Box 1569, Joplin, Mo. 64802. An additional Memorial Service and burial will be held December 3, 2017 at the Church of the Nazarene in Santa Cruz, California with burial in the Oakwood Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mason-Woodard Mortuary and Crematory of Joplin, Mo.
