Germany dish
Many years ago, Art and Gina Martin included their daughter and I in a visit to Joplin to meet family and friends. I met Bob and Jane and got to borrow a room for our visit. Bob discovered my German heritage and asked if I knew any good German recipes. I did and agreed to make it one night for dinner. It went over well,but he had a hard time remembering the name. Roladen! In his comical way,he renamed the dish, Gophers! He said that is what they looked like to him. I still say that occasionally and have to think of him! He will be missed! Larry Schaub
